Over the past three years ProCharger has established itself as the leader in Dodge/Chrysler HEMI forced induction systems. When Dodge introduced the modern day Hemi engine, the engineers at ProCharger knew they would be faced with some tuning challenges on this new platform. Soon after the release of the Dodge Charger, a few forced induction systems became available from other companies and many new Charger owners took notice. Unfortunately, many of these systems were poorly designed and along with fuel management and tuning issues caused several cases of catastrophic engine failure in the field.

Enter the test mule, a complete 5.7L Hemi engine purchased new by ProCharger with a Dodge factory stock accessory drive. The intake manifold for the Hemi Ram engine varied in design and flow from the intake manifold for the Hemi Charger engines so ProCharger tested both, measuring the air/fuel ratio at each individual cylinder during every test performed on the engine dyno. This engine went through a grueling 18 month R&D process without a single failure. ProCharger engineers made a total of 227 dyno pulls on this motor; 139 with the RAM intake manifold and 88 with the Charger intake manifold.

The R&D process also included ProCharger purchasing a Dodge Hemi RAM and a Hemi Charger for additional chassis dyno and real world street testing. The 2006 Hemi Ram made 139 chassis dyno pulls and has over 11,000 miles of spirited supercharged street driving without a single failure. The same goes for the Charger but with 90 chassis dyno pulls and over 13,000 street miles. Both of these vehicles were seen on the Hot Rod Power Tour the past two years. But the testing did not stop here. When ProCharger felt confident in the tuning solution, we tested multiple beta vehicles, including 5.7L and 6.1L Challenger, 300C and Magnum both on the dyno and on the street to be 100% certain we were offering the most advanced, safe and reliable Hemi supercharger system on the market.

Today the self-contained and intercooled 5.7L and 6.1L Hemi Procharger systems are producing the largest reliable and streetable power gains in the industry. With gains of 100 to 150+ rear wheel horsepower on stock vehicles and even more on modified applications we are sure to have a full system or tuner kit to get you the horsepower you want.
