7.33 @ 197 ON DRAG RADIALS!
Former nitrous racer Dave Hinzman, who only 2-months ago made the switch to a ProCharger self-contained centrifugal supercharger, recently went 7.33 @ 197 mph in 1/4 mile testing at Milan Dragway. Hinzman’s best run on nitrous was 7.80, and that only happened once. The 3,400 lb. fox body Mustang is on stock suspension and powered by a 540cid BBC breathing through an F-3R-131 ProCharger and running C-16, the same fuel he ran on nitrous. This pass established Hinzman’s Mustang as one of the fastest drag radial cars in the country!
