PROCHARGER AT 2009 V-TWIN EXPO
For the third year in a row, the ProCharger V-Twin Team displayed at the annual V-Twin Expo by Easyriders, February 7 – 9 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, OH. This dealer- and builder-only event draws attendees from all over the world and this year was no exception.
The ProCharger display had a great assortment of supercharged and intercooled Harley-Davidson V-twins, including the debut of several new systems: 2006 and later Dyna and 2007 and later Softail H-D motorcycles. The incredible 2007 Screamin’ Eagle Dyna on display featured a modified 110″ V-twin and produces an amazing 192 supercharged and intercooled rear-wheel horsepower. This bike was just completed and tuned prior to the event and the owner and dealer feel there is even more horsepower available.
Also on display for the first time was a beautiful blue 2008 Softail “Rocker”. This supercharged and intercooled mild custom hot rod cranks out an amazing 122 RWHP on 91 octane pump gas.
Not to be left out of the horsepower party, the bagger segment was very well represented by two real-world bikes; a 156 RWHP, carbureted 2004 FLHT Street Glide, complete with a black powdered-coated ProCharger supercharger and intercooler system, and of course, ProCharger’s own 2007 FLHX Street Glide “Project Bagger”. This big, bad and blue highway hauler features a full FBI “fat bagger” conversion, CD/DVD/Nav system and hazes the rear tire with 204 RWHP.
With these recent expansions to the ProCharger V-Twin product offerings, ProCharger now has an intercooled, self-conatined, bolt-on supercharger system for virtually every model of air-cooled H-D motorcycles from certain 1984 models up the the newest 2009 Touring bikes.
The ProCharger booth wasn’t the only place at the V-Twin Expo as there were numerous ProCharger-equipped Harley’s in other company’s displays, including:
