PROCHARGER CHAMPION: TRAVIS FRANKLIN

Travis Franklin, of Mansfield, TX has successfully defended his 2007 Fun Ford Weekend Renegade class championship by taking top honors again for 2008. Running consistently and leading the points race for most of the season, it was no surprise that this previous champion was able to prove once again the dominating power of a ProCharger supercharger.

Franklin put his more than 10 years of experience to good use this season; traveling all over the country to show that he is the man to beat in the FFW ProCharger Renegade class. Franklin drives a Ford Mustang with a 440 c.i. small-block Ford fed by an intercooled F-2R ProCharger that produces over 1,500 horsepower. This engine combination proved extremely reliable for Franklin throughout the season, and everyone is excited to see him take a shot at gaining another championship next year.
