PROCHARGER RACERS CHARGE INTO 2008
NMRA Bradention March 6th-9th
The ProCharger racers are off to a blazing start to the 2008 season. John Urist and Tim Matherly both defended their 2007 championships with NMRA season opening wins in Super Street Outlaw and Real Street, respectively.
NMCA Bradenton March 28th-30th
Pro Street: This had to be one of the largest fields in recent history. With 22 cars trying to get into the 16 car field, it was a race just to see who was going to make the final qualifying ladder. Mark Micke qualified with a 6.47 @ 216.34 mph. That was strong enough to land him in the 4th spot. Mark raced his race by running in the 6.40’s round after round by cutting good lights. Mark faced off with Steve King in the finals and the Micke crew came out on top. This NMCA win follows the NSCA Pro Street championship win by Jarod Wenrick last season.
