PROCHARGER TO DISPLAY AT 2011 DEALERNEWS POWERSPORTS EXPO, FEB 18-20
For the second year in a row, Team ProCharger will be displaying at the Dealernews Powersports Expo in Indianapolis, IN, Feb 18 – 20. The 2011 Dealer Expo is the 44th annual and is regarded as one of the top shows in North America for powersports dealers.
Covering motorcycles (on-road and off-road), ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles and more, this is a veritable one-stop tradeshow for powersport dealers from around the world. And yes, ProCharger will be there in force and will be displaying in booth # 3471. ProCharger has doubled the size of its booth space this year to make room for all of the ProCharged horsepower on display. If you’re attending this show, please be sure to stop by and see us.
ProCharger Powersports
ProCharger is rapidly expanding our industry-leading, self-contained supercharging leadership in this rapidly growing market segment. At this year’s show, ProCharger will be debuting a complete, bolt-on intercooled supercharger system for the Polaris Ranger XP 800 and Polaris Ranger Crew 800.
Running just 8 psi of intercooled boost, ProCharger adds 40 – 50% more power to an otherwise stock 800 EFI engine running on high quality pump gas.
Check out this video of a ProCharger-equipped Ranger XP 800 undergoing some testing last fall.
At the Dealernews Expo, Team ProCharger will also be discussing the development of a bolt-on supercharger system for the recently introduced Polaris Ranger RZR XP 900 – the most powerful side by side UTV to date. With a factory-claimed 88 hp, just imagine the power output when this 875 cc, EFI engine is fitted with an intercooled ProCharger!
ProCharger is also looking into the performance snowmobile market. These high-tech, electronically fuel injected engines are ideal candidates for intercooled supercharger because of the power required for the large track and clutch assembly, and the fact that they often operate in high altitude environments. Several performance snowmobile builders in the north central US are already using ProCharger superchargers on their customized sleds.
Besides ProCharged UTVs and snowmobiles, there will of course be several ProCharger-equipped motorcycles on display, including a customized Softail Rocker and a custom ProCharged Hayabusa.
Back in October, we blogged about how ProCharger’s industry-leading superchargers are being adapted to wide range of performance powersports vehicles, both on-road and off. You can find even more information about ProCharger superchargers for the powersports industry here.
