TALE OF THE 10-SECOND V6

Now before you start throwing things and calling us liars, let us introduce you to the first 3.7L 2011 Mustang V6 in the 10’s.  You might be asking yourself, how does one even get a V6 into the 10-second range?  With a ProCharger of course!

Looking to test the limits of Ford’s new 3.7L V6 power plant, the guys over at Central Florida Motorsports set a world record with a 10.89 @ 125.3 MPH.  Using the tried and true ProCharger D-1SC supercharger and air-to air intercooler, CFM pushed past the previous record of an 11 second ¼ mile held by American Muscle in their ProCharged V6 Mustang equipped with a P-1SC.  At only 13lbs of boost CFM’s Yellow Blaze V6 Mustang is dropping an impressive 500+ RWHP and maintaining 20+ miles to the gallon.  They were able to accomplish all this utilizing a stock engine with bolt on upgrades and a custom tune.
